This little canvas started out with a technique from watching Miranda on YouTube, using hot glue to draw a design and then glue tissue paper over the designs.
I was also inspired by watching Marion Smith videos on coloring with glimmer mist.
I challenge you to get inspired and grab some glimmer and create away.
I put a dab of gesso on my finger
Grabbed some chipboard and cut out some of my favorite die cuts.
Sprayed with differnet kinds of glimmer mist to add layers of color.
Die cut out the wings ran through an embossing folder.
Painted a thick coat of white paint or I used gesso.
I added little touches on the canvas with cheese cloth.
Using glimmer mist to achieve the color tones I wanted to use.
Now when I finished the canvas at first the flowers where showing up on camera with a green coloring. Which I did love reminded me of a patina look, but I wasn't really feeling it.
So I was BRAVE and I mean brave I was shaking in my boots when I decided to white wash the flowers. I was so excited when it turned out pretty cool.
At last it is finished.
